Tiffany Taitt: NPC Bikini Competitor
What's the biggest piece of advice anyone has given you in this industry?
My trainer Joe Discuillo is such a passionate person and I feel like sometimes he should charge the rates of a psychologist because I walk away from my training sessions feeling like he kicked my butt but also I feel better emotionally. He gives me the same advice every time I see him and I feel like his advice is valuable because he has done such great work with his wife and they continue to have a model relationship with each other and all the girls. He tells me that this is my journey and I can?t want it for anyone else but myself.
Have you ever been one of the girls at the gym who was scared of the weights?
Yes! I very much wanted to work out before I ever really did but I was so scared of looking silly. It took someone taking me and showing me how for a long time before I felt the confidence to go to the gym alone.
What is your favorite quote?
If something is important to you, you?ll find a way. If it?s not, you?ll find an excuse. I have no idea who originally said it but I say it every day to myself, and it?s the standard I hold for everything in my life.
What are your hobbies?
Aside from fitness I love anything and everything to do with my Great Dane. She is larger than life and I love including her in anything and everything that I can get away with. I also love to read and I?ll also admit it I look forward to speaking to my best friend on the phone every day and talking about absolutely nothing.
What is your favorite cheat meal and how do you deal with cravings?
My favorite cheat meal is Mexican food. My trainer knows after a competition that I was French fries and enchiladas. To deal with cravings, I am the Stevia Queen. I also never have any foods in my kitchen that aren?t in my assigned diet.
